Jim & Dawn Minette Collection This is a handsome example of the hydrous magnesium borate, Kurnakovite. The specimen consists of an impressive single crystal with sharp form and remarkable translucency. Several opaque inclusions of various borate minerals are seen near the core of the crystal, in combination with numerous oriented veils. The play of light across these veils is simply remarkable- a wonderful complement to any collection.
