Bill & Carol Smith Collection Cassiterite after orthoclase is one of the most sought after British pseudomorphs. Like this one, they are nearly always floater Carlsbad twin crystals and are totally coated if not fully replaced by black cassiterite. Bill Smith acquired this one from the British Museum of Natural History in 1966.
