Russ Honea This is an attractive matrix specimen of bright Peruvian wire silver. This piece features several large silver wires in association with stout crystals of acanthite, on a beautifully contrasting matrix of pale carbonate minerals and quartz. Many of the wires are more than 1 cm in length, and the main silver mass measures an impressive 3.7 cm in width.
