Jim & Dawn Minette Collection
An attractive and well rounded combination piece, this specimen hosts a prominent splay of pale blue celestine crystals on a matrix of cream white colemanite. The celestine has formed as prismatic, radial aggregates of euhedral crystals. They're perched on the upper half of the specimen's face, adding a sense of depth to the piece. There are a few small contacts on the upper right of the specimen, but these are largely obscured by the other crystals. Originally collected in January of 1975, this piece comes complete with its original label.
