Rich gold ore specimens from the big three mines in the San Juans (Idarado, Sunnyside, Camp Bird) all look somewhat similar, but there are subtle distinctions. This one has very fine-grained gold disseminated in white quartz with minor sulfides. A very rich Idarado specimen.
