GOLD after CALAVERITE
Phil Sheridan Mine, Boulder County, Colorado, USA 5.5 × 4.5 × 4.5 cm

Sold Specimen Number: 0900-1786 Browse All Specimens
This is a type of gold commonly seen in Cripple Creek, but not so much in other areas. The gold on this specimen is replacing sylvanite (probably) crystals frozen in the matrix. There are likely other minerals present in the pseudomorph, but more research would need to be done to isolate them.
