Originally labeled malachite with atacamite, this one didn’t look quite right to me so we ran a battery of tests including XRD and EDX to determine that it is actually brochantite. These dark green needles covering a limonite matrix are still an unusual occurrence for Tsumeb, but not as rare as atacamite would have been.
