Bill & Carol Smith Collection Bill and Carol Smith collected sulfosalts in general, but they collected bournonite as an impressive stand-alone suite with representation from many disparate localities.

This was almost an incredible specimen, but it’s still very good. Bright tabular twinned bournonite crystals to 3 cm are clustered on a matrix of white barite blades. Unfortunately there is some significant damage to a couple crystals. The damage could be mitigated by some judicious trimming.
