Wendy & Frank Melanson Collection Wendy and Frank Melanson by virtue of Frank’s frequent trips to Brazil accumulated a wonderful and varied suite of thumbnail tourmaline crystals.

I have always prized elbaite crystals from Elba, one of the true European classics. This is a nice single “rubellite” crystal with a dark brown flat termination. Frank and Wendy traded this one from the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt in in 2003.
