Sold Specimen Number: 0900-0809 Browse All Specimens
This specimen is representative of many that were produced in the 1970’s. The distinctive rhodochrosite crystals are slightly rounded on one edge, and are scattered with tiny apatite crystals that are vividly fluorescent yellow under short-wave UV light. There is also a 4mm sharp gemmy blue dodecahedron of fluorite on the rhodochrosite all on a matrix of needle quartz and black sphalerite. Previously in the Richard Strecker collection.
