Sold Specimen Number: 1315-40 Browse All Specimens
D. Kim Cathcart Collection This is one of the famed “Gem Pocket” mimetites from Tsumeb. It’s easy to see how the pocket was named when you see these gem clear pale yellow mimetite crystals. The crystals from this pocket are quite distinctive in form as well with perfect hexagonal prisms topped with equally perfect pyramids. The wulfenite on this specimen is in a small vug on the back side of the specimen. They are not impressive, but are an interesting association.
