Jim & Dawn Minette Collection Jim and Dawn Minette put together arguably the finest thumbnail mineral collection ever. We acquired the collection in 2008, but some fine specimens fell through the cracks and are still available. Keep in mind that Minette thumbnails often pushed the size envelope so they may not fit exactly into a 1 inch cube.

This cluster of twins has all the things I like about Schlaggenwald cassiterite. It has great luster, large sharp crystals, dramatic deeply grooved twins, and an aesthetic presentation. A location truly deserving of the “classic” designation.
