Jim & Dawn Minette Collection Jim and Dawn Minette put together arguably the finest thumbnail mineral collection ever. We acquired the collection in 2008, but some fine specimens fell through the cracks and are still available. Keep in mind that Minette thumbnails often pushed the size envelope so they may not fit exactly into a 1 inch cube.

Mimetite crystals from Johangeorgenstadt are hard to find and sought after. This one is a nice sharp hexagonal prism with sharp pyramidal terminations. The crystal is doubly terminated, but there is a significant chip near the bottom of the crystal that keeps this one from being truly expensive.
