Jim & Dawn Minette Collection Jim and Dawn Minette put together arguably the finest thumbnail mineral collection ever. We acquired the collection in 2008, but some fine specimens fell through the cracks and are still available. Keep in mind that Minette thumbnails often pushed the size envelope so they may not fit exactly into a 1 inch cube.

An exquisite azurite from Morocco. I love the jagged edges on the sides of the crystals and the multiple reflecting surfaces on the front of the crystal. A bit of white dolomite serves as matrix. Minette acquired this one as part of their purchase of the Leonard Bedale collection in 1985.
