Harold Michel Collection Harold Michel was a long-time collector and part time mineral dealer in the Phoenix area. He grew up in Kansas, but discovered minerals when he moved to Arizona and it became a passion for the rest of his life. He specialized in Arizona minerals, but had a fine suite from Colorado, a quartz collection, and numerous worldwide samples. The collection was well catalogued with cards carrying detailed information about each specimen.

There were lots of Fat Jack mine quartz clusters in the Michel collection, but none with better luster and clarity than this one collected by Ray Grant. The scepter heads are pale purple topping the long grayish scepter stems.
