Harold Michel Collection Harold Michel was a long-time collector and part time mineral dealer in the Phoenix area. He grew up in Kansas, but discovered minerals when he moved to Arizona and it became a passion for the rest of his life. He specialized in Arizona minerals, but had a fine suite from Colorado, a quartz collection, and numerous worldwide samples. The collection was well catalogued with cards carrying detailed information about each specimen.

The Bluebird mine is noted for azurite clusters, but this one is particularly large. The flattened rosette of nice blue azurite is rimmed with larger sharp crystals.
