Over the last several years the mines near Zard in Balochistan, Pakistan have produced certainly the finest brookite specimens in the world. Lesser known, but still world-class are the anatase specimens produced in the same area. The quality of the crystals is as fine as anything produced from Norway.
This one is the largest anatase crystal I was able to acquire. They get bigger, but I haven’t seen this quality and aesthetics on larger crystals. There is a contact on the back of the crystal where it was touching matrix, but there is no problem with the display angle. This specimen comes with a custom made Sunnywood lucite base.
