Pete Tescione Collection Pete Tescione was an avid field collector and a part-time mineral dealer in the Tucson area. We were able to acquire 3 important lots of his field collected minerals: pyromorphite from Spain, hematite from Italy, and quartz from the Jeffrey Mine in Arkansas. According to Tescione’s labels the pyromorphite crystals were collected in 1986 by Peter P. Tescione Jr. with Francisco Vergara and Ignacio.

Probably the best pyromorphite in the lot, this one is a undulating crust of bright green crystals on a limonite matrix.
