Bill & Carol Smith Collection A beautiful cluster of dark purple translucent twinned crystals. This fluorite was acquired by Bill Smith in and exchange with the US National Museum in 1954 on the same day he acquired 1301-BS0411. Exchanges with museums were much more commonplace then. The elegantly scribed “R1295” on the specimen signifies a Roebling specimen.
