Jim & Dawn Minette Collection This is a wonderfully aesthetic combination specimen from the lower levels of the Billie Mine. A band of translucent, slate blue celestine crystals cuts diagonally across the center of a snow white cluster of well-formed colemanite. The color contrast and crystal form is superb, with the termination of each celestine crystal forming a nearly perfect diamond. There is a small amount of damage to the base of the specimen, which is largely obscured when the specimen is displayed from its face. This piece was featured in the Special Memorial Exhibit of the James & Dawn Minette Collection, and includes its original label.
