Wendy & Frank Melanson Collection An exceptionally bright specimen of gold from Montana. The gold looks almost like a pair of antlers. This unique form is the result of gold that had formed around angular fragments of vein material that has subsequently weathered away, leaving only the gold behind. A single mass of the original host rock lies at the center of the specimen.
