This is a very nice matrix specimen of wire silver from the historic mines of Cobalt, Ontario. This piece features several lustrous silver wires gently etched from the encasing white calcite. Many of the wires are more than 1 cm in length, and the main mass of silver measures 3.2 cm in width. Formerly in the A.E. Seaman Museum collection at Michigan Tech.
