Kämmererite, the purple variety of clinochlore is one of the most notable Turkish minerals. This one is a nice plate of coarse dark purple crystals on a plate of lighter drusy crystals. Evidently the matrix must be exceedingly hard, as the edges of the specimen are sawed as are many of these.
